🐧 Linux Journey

I recently installed Arch Linux with Hyprland on a refurbished ThinkPad T480 — my first time ever using Linux. It’s been a challenging but exciting dive into tiling window managers, dotfiles, and using the terminal for everything.

💻 Projects in Progress

• Building my personal portfolio using Astro and MDX — both are new to me, and I’m learning a lot as I go.(I’m also using React as my safe space for components.)
• Preparing for a freelance fullstack project coming up soon — brushing up on workflows and planning ahead.
• Doing freelance automation work using n8n and Make.com, streamlining workflows and building useful tools for clients.

📚 Teaching & Mentoring

I’m giving private coding lessons to an 11-year-old student, teaching basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
We’re currently building a “choose your own adventure” game in vanilla JS — it’s been a fun and creative way to learn.

• Astro content collections and MDX workflows
• Better component structure with React inside Astro
• Brushing up on Web Scraping
• Deeper patterns in JavaScript
• Zsh and Linux command line skills
• Shell scripting for automation and productivity

🎮 Just for Fun

• Getting into Linux conifguration
• Exploring pixel art and digital drawing with Aseprite
• Playing around with AI tools for fun ideas and side experiments
